No., actually it won't affect in any type in future if you have already cleared your backlogs before sitting in the placements.

Your placements season will start from the 3rd year i.e. from 6th semester till then you need to clear all of your backlogs to avoid this type of situation to not get allowed in the placements.

You have the time till 5th semester to complete your backlogs so that you can eligible in the placements and if you have any then they will not allow to even if the subject is soft skills.
