It's difficult to say because seats per college will be around 18-36 depending on stream, so just go for counseling if you get seat in top 10 college then only do M.Tech otherwise go for GATE and get good Score, you will get seat in OU/top in hyd or IIT, NIT and it will help in jobs.
M.Tech can be done anytime don't be hurry to do in normal private colleges.Try for NIT,IIT etc.
