Yes you can get government college through JEE mains but you must need to check the eligibility criteria for taking admission in that college. 

Most of the colleges or counselling (mainly for government college) now a days fix a percentage criteria which is varying for 65% to 75% for general category candidates. And if you are from reserved category then the percentage criteria has some relaxation.
