Your 6 thousand rank is very good rank in Jee main. Surely you will get admission in nit s . Your rank is lower than many of nits cut off . You will surely get nit of you  choosen nit in josaa counseling .

Congratulation for such a good score in jee mains 2019.
As you have not mention your category so I am considering you as a general candidate.
So definitely with this rank you can get admission into most nits with core branches but still its difficult for you to get admission into top 3 nits with core branches but as you share homestate quota so you can though.
If you are under sc or st category the it would create difficulty for you to get admission into any prestigious college of engineering nits.

Congratulations on qualifying JEE-MAINS. Your rank is good. At 6K you can expect admission in good NITs Across India. Not only NITs but IIITs/GFTIs as well. Regarding who stream. it's hard to predict as it depends on the availability on that particular NIT. You can Try for Telengana as You State Quota will be helpful.
