Thanks for the answer. I have few follow up questionsLast year MD Obs & Gynae closing rank in Govt. college was 6710 (Midnapore Medical College) in the second round. I heard that this year seats are increased by ~600 (Source: https://news.aglasem.com/601-pg-medical-seats-increased-for-md-ms-broad-speciality-courses/). So, will this make any difference?What are the disadvantages of opting for Diploma in Obs & Gynae instead of MD/MS courses?. As on my rank, I would get an MS OPTHALMOLOGY and MS Surgery in good government colleges.I have done my MBBS from Maharashtra, so what are my chances in state counselling to get MD Obs & GynaePlease help me with answers of above questions.Thanks a lot for helping here.With regards,Dr. Shristi Raj
