Hi Himanshu,
Hope you are doing well. Most of them don't know, but even Karnataka and Tamil Nadu are the states with best engineering colleges in India. In Karnataka, R.V. College Of Engineering, M.S.Ramaiah Institute Of Technology, BMS College Of Engineering and most other colleges are known for their excellence in providing quality education. In Tamil Nadu, Anna University is a famous University where people wish to pursue their engineering career. If you are from different state and want to get admissions in the colleges in Karnataka, you need to write the COMED-K examination, whereas for getting admissions in Tamil Nadu colleges, you need to write TNEA examination. I hope this answer will help you.
All the best for your future.
