CUCET was conducted by any one of the central universities till last year, and at that time for every correct answer 1 mark was given. This system changed, as in 2021 CUCET exam was conducted by NTA, so the total number of questions were 100 (i.e 25 in part 1 and rest 75 in part2 ) for each correct question 4 marks are alloted and for each incorrect question -1 marks is deducted. so, 4*100 = 400 marks. That's how the total marks comes to be 400.
