The counseling and seat allotment procedure for JEE Main 2019 will be conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA).
All the qualified candidates will have to register themselves for JoSAA counseling in online mode.
The counseling will be based on candidate’s merit, availability of seats and preference of choices.
Before commencement of actual JoSAA round, two mock seat allotment rounds will be conducted by the authorities so that candidates can know about their chances in their desired institute.
After the mock rounds, seven main rounds of seat allotment will be held.
