Shivangi, if you follow the last 2 years trend then you can see that there is an oppourtunity to get into NITs like NIT Agartala & NIT Arunachal Pradesh. Openining rank of Anunachal Pradesh last year was 114907 and closing rank was around 115454 for Chemical Engineering. For Civil Engineering the Opening rank was 108513 and the closing rank was 141825. For NIT Agartala, the opening rank last year was around 158375 and the closing rank was 232156 for female candidates (Chemical Engineering). For civil Engineering the opening and closing rank was 101615 and 162600 respectively for female candidates. This year also the opening and closing rank will be similar to last year. Hence there is a chance to get into NITs with your rank.

but the chances of getting into the NITs is a difficult thing

NITs has a lot of competition so it will be difficult you to get in

if you are a home stateian of meghalaya,hamirpur,agartala,manipur,mizoram,jammu kashmir

you have a chance if you are belong to those home states
