i got 83.74 percentile and i am sc category can i get seat in which nit campus

Hi Srinivasa,

It is difficult to predict actual rank based on your marks. your expected rank can be calculated by using the formula

100 - your total percentile score is the percentage  of people ahead of you. 869010 are the number of candidates appeared for Jan exam. So rank formula is (100 - 83.74) X 869010 /100.

So using above formula your expected overall rank would be around 142,703.

If the number of candidates for April exam increased to 1200000 then your final rank shall be around  (100 - 83.74) X 1200000/100 that is 195,000.

So, it is very much diffficult to get an NIT. You have to secure more than 90 percentile to get a NIT College.
