Hello,

Overall expected rank with the given percentile is expected to be in between 163680 - 184000. To check the expected rank click on the link below

Your category rank is expected to be in between 20,000-30,000. You need to score minimum 94-96 percentile or above in JEE Main in order to get seat in an NIT. Considering the previous year cut off you do not have chances to get seat in NIT, Surathkal.

But you may qualify in JEE Main. Last year the qualifying cut off percentile was 50.1760245 for SC category. This year it is expected to be in between 50-55. SO you can appear for JEE Advanced. If you wish to get admission in an IIT you may prepare for JEE Advanced. Cut off depends on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. It may increase or decrease depending on these factors.

To know the colleges in which you have chances of getting seat you can use we have JEE Main college predictor tool, you can use it by using the link below

I hope you are healthy and fine.

Now if we look at previous years trends and try to find your common rank on the percentile will be somewhere between 163680 - 184000 .

You can also check your expected rank by yourself using our rank predictor tool. Below I am attaching the link of it.

You should note that these ranks are calculated on the basis of past years Percentile vs Rank trends, so you should not be surprised by observing slight variation in the actual rank and the expected rank.

As you have mentioned that you are from OBC category so if we do some more analysis to find you category rank then it will be somewhere between 8700 to 10,000.

Now coming to your main question that whether you will get any NIT or not, so answer is ye, you can get.

Below is the list of NITs(best for your rank) with branch which you can get on the rank you have got.

  • NIT Agartala - Electrical
  • IIEST Shibpur - Civil
  • NIT Silchar - Civil
  • NIT Jamshedpur - Production and Industrial

You can also use our college predictor tool to see which colleges are in your rank range. Below I am pasting the link of it.
