With a score of 87, your rank will be somewhere around 100000. With that, I don't think you will get into an NIT or IIIT or IIEST. But, try for your homestate NIT. You may have a chance. Or. attempt JEE Advaned with great effort. You may get an IIT.

You can apply for nit's as your are eligible to attend the counselling conducted to offer seats in the nit's and iit's.

With this rank it would be difficult for you to get admission into top nit's but you can apply for your home state nit's. Where chances of getting a seat are higher.

             Sorry to say may you can not get admission in NIT's or IIIT's  because admission in colleges depends upon Cut off list prepared by the colleges or by JoSAA. It depends upon your rank also.

Try checking previous year cut off list and closing rank of NIT's and IIIT's. Go for best private colleges
