First of all congrats for clearing Jee mains 2020 attempt.

According to your category you will get a general rank near about 1 lakhs and there will also our Obc rank. NIT Trichy is the top Nit according to Nirf. It can demand a high percentile of above 97 or equal.  But you can expect good branches in decent Nits like Mizoram nagaland etc.

As you told of tamil nadu you can also apply to Vit and Srm with your rank because they are not taking entrance this year and admission will be based upon 12th marks and Jee ranks also
