89.69 percentile is not that bad if you consider just the qualification but when it comes to getting a seat in NIT then it is very difficult considering the General category. And it would be difficult to provide the exact information about the admission possibilities & cutoff as for the first time JEE Main is being conducted twice by NTA in multiple session. So, please work hard for the next phase exam and try to improve your percentile.

Dear Mousumi according to last years statistics, according to your score very less chance to get a good NIT. The good NIT will be getting after more than 95 percentile or more because the competition is very high my dear and according to the number of students percentiles vary. So try to get higher percentile in your next attempt if you planned for next attempt.

No,you can't get NIT college with this score.Nad specially if you are a general student.

Though chances are there if you belong to sc/st.
Nevertheless, you can appear in jee advance.
