It will not be possible for you to get CSE in the top NIT's because you need to secure a rank below 7,000 to even stand a chance if you are from the OBC-NCL category.

But, you can try in NIT Durgapur and NIT Hamirpur if you are from the home state because of previous years cut off which has been very high for home state OBC-NCL candidates. Last year, the closing rank for home state OBC-NCL candidates was around 20,000 in NIT Durgapur and around 80,000 in NIT Hamirpur.
