You have not mentioned which category you belong to nor your corresponding rank. With  97 percentile, you have chances of procuring a seat in the NIT's, but the top six ones can be procured, only if you belong to any reserved category. Also, one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats, by which nothing can be predicted for sure.
