With a 98.1 percentile in the general category, you can easily get an NIT as a percentile above 97 ensures this but you may not expect to get branches like CSE in the best NITs like Trichy, Warangal etc. as they require a percentile of 99.5+. You will also get core branches in your home state NIT.
