If you want to be auto-upgraded to a higher preference seat in a future round, you must complete the admission process for the seat you were allotted in the 2nd phase. If you don't complete it in the given time, you will be excluded from the entire counselling process.

If you mean auto-upgradation then after your JEXPO 2025 counselling , your current seat in the government polytechnic is held for you while you are considered for next round.

If you are get seat in a later counseling round, your old seat gets forfeited and if you dont get seat your can choose your old seat.there is no loss in auto upgradation.
