See there is no telling what may happen this year as the criteria and the people choices are changing every year so may not find seats vacant this time around. And as you have got into the Chennai campus I would suggest you dont let go of your seat till the time you have a confirmation of getting Bangalore campus. Otherwise that would cause you more trouble.  I hope it helped
