Your compartment in Math may pose a problem in your placement because for BTech, Math is one of the most important subjects as it forms the basis of the course. Your 12th percentage is average so that shouldn't be a big problem, but your math compartment can be. But this will not be the case if in your 12th mark sheet, it is not mentioned but as far as I know, it is mentioned.

You can make up for it by scoring high in your compartment and also in your college subjects, and then your 12th compartment can be overlooked. Because this shows that you have improved since then.
