You’ve got a 10,000 EAMCET rank, which gives you good chances for ECE, IT, or AI/ML in solid colleges.

If it's AP EAMCET, target JNTU Anantapur, SVU Tirupati, or GVP Vizag.

For TS EAMCET, go for VNR VJIET, GRIET, or CVR.

Focus on college quality and placements, even if not CSE then ECE and IT also have strong career scope.

Hi ,

A rank around 10,000 in EAMCET is great and opens up good opportunities in reputed colleges, especially in private institutions. Government colleges may be difficult unless you belong to a reserved category, but let’s look at your options.

In terms of branches, choose one that balances your interest + job scope. At your rank, you may get:

  • CSE  in mid-tier colleges like Vardhaman, Malla Reddy or Guru Nanak
  • ECE or EEE in better colleges like BV Raju, Vasavi or Gokaraju Rangaraju
  • Mechanical or Civil in some top-tier private colleges if you're open to core engineering

Also, check placement records, faculty, and lab facilities of the colleges before locking in. Participating in spot rounds or management quota may also help if you have a preferred college in mind and a little budget flexibility.

Best wishes for your engineering journey,
