We are extremely sorry Simi, but unfortunately you cannot get benefit of PwD category with a surgery or some treatment or any kind of temporary injury because to be eligible for PwD quota one should have permanent disability of at least 40% but you have an injury so you are not eligible for PwD category and my personal advise to you is you should contact to NTA and make them aware of your issue and also send them your medical reports that you had received from the Hospital, they would be helping you with this issue.
