Dear Sk,

People usually see their 10th marks to evaluate which subjects they should choose for their 10+2 but that is a wrong approach. You should see which subject you were good at and secured the highest of all. Till 10th class, we study so many subjects so that we have basic knowledge of each subject and can identify which subject you excel in. For example, if you like economics, basic calculation and how money works then you can go for commerce if you are good at programming or are interested in making games or software then you can choose a subject like IT or CS with commerce or PCM depending upon where you can score well and that is again dependent on what you are good at. If biology excites you then you can go for PCB but keep in mind that you should be comfortable with physics and chemistry. In short, you should have a rough idea about what you want to be in the future and according to that choose your subjects.

I hope this solves your query.
