Well the rejection a lot depends on the examination for which you have filled the application form for. If it is a mistake, it is a mistake. They ask for information for overview of their eligibilty criteria and the information you provide is ultimate for them, so if have entered wrong information its final for them, you may correct it on correction window, if possible or wait because you may show your marksheets at  counselling. You may mention name of examination in comment section.
