Who told you that NIOS students are not eligible for NEET UG?? Regarding the candidature of NIOS candidates for NEET UG the petition is pending in hon'ble SC and the verdict is not yet out and unless the verdict gets out NIOS students are provisionally eligible for NEET UG.

So if you appear for improvement in any of the examinations of NIOS board then you will be eligible for NEET UG as per the current eligibility criteria.

What matters is your marks in PCB combination of 10+2 :-
