Hello,
Having normal vision without the use of glasses would be mandatory for becoming a Sub-Inspector (SI). Candidates with conditions such as flat feet, knock knee, squint eyes, or any other physical issues will still be eligible for employment but if you don't have such conditions, you won't be eligible for it.
Hope this helps,
Thank you
Hii There,
Medical Test for SSC SI Exam:
The minimum near vision requirement is N6 for the better eye and N9 for the worse eye. The minimum distant vision requirement is 6/6 for the better eye and 6/9 for the worse eye. These visual acuities should be achieved without any corrective measures such as glasses or surgery.
I hope this answers your question.
Thanks
