As most of the college/university are conducting Entrance exams through which they are selecting their students, a gap year would not be a problem at all. And like you said, you started a business in that gap year, so you didn't waste your time rather utilizes it completely. So ut won't reflect poorly on you CV.

Also if you are going to apply for Masters then go ahead. A gap year is not going to make any difference.
