After 2015 there was a change in the pattern of CPT exam conducted by ICAI so there is a possibility that some portion of the new syllabus will be there in the new CPT books, so as far as books are concerned you could either check for new books or look for additional study material of what extra is included on the internet.

Hi. I would suggest you to refer to the updated study materials of 2017 if available. You can also download some books from Google itself to study more and get a better rank. If you want to do exceptionally well, you can also join the coaching institute , they will guide you better.
