To qualify for JEE mains, you must pass your 12th grade board exams. If you are in the general category, you must receive a score of 75% on the boards; otherwise, don't even consider it. To qualify for a seat, you must either achieve a board average of 75% or place in the top 20% of all candidates in the jee mains.

If you belong to reserved category, then requirement is at least 65%.
