Jee mains has stopped considering the boards percentage so you are provided with an all India rank and according to that you will get an institution. It might sound harsh but as an obc candidate it isn't possible to get a NIT. I recommend trying for your state entrance exam or if this your first attempt and think you can do better you can go for dropping but this would be a risky step. If not NIT you can get into other good colleges through jee mains rank. Best of luck
