Hello,

You don’t need to go to the allotted college for upgradation.
If you don’t want to take admission there, just don’t report to the college.
You can choose upgradation or further rounds through the counselling portal itself from your place.
Physical reporting is needed only if you accept the seat and want to join.

Hope it helps !

Hey:)

If you don't want to join the college alloted in Haldia, you usually don't need to go there unless you have already reported there in person and completed the admission formalities. If you haven't paid or reported just skip the process the and the seat will be cancelled. If you paid but didn't report, use the withdraw/exit option on the Counselling portal. However, if you have already reported to the institute and submitted documents or fee then you'll need to contact the college admission office directly to apply for withdrawal and may require visiting the college.

Inshort, you only need to visit or contact the college for withdrawal if you have already reported there and submitted your documents
