I have chosen the float option what chances are that my seat will be upgraded in further rounds of seat allotment

Hello,

 You have not allotted seat in second round means that you have allotted the same preference as that of the first round. If you have taken provisional admission after being allotted a seat in the first round. Now as you selected the float option, it means that your seat shall be reserved until you are allotted a better seat in the next subsequent rounds. If your seat does not get upgraded, you’ll have your reserved and you may confirm that particular seat later.
