Of course you're eligible to apply for SSC CHSL, its eligibility criteria is passed 10+2 from a recognized board, there is no restrictions in terms of subject combinations or specific stream for that matter, yes maths is an important section in this exam, but then it doesn't matter if you have it at 10+2 level or not, you can still learn the basic concepts, you can use NCERT books regarding this , that's the best optional regarding conceptual clarity, and later on you can choose other standard books among RK Agarwal's Quantitative Aptitude for Competitive Exams, M Tyra's Magical Maths, or Fast-Track Objective Arithmetics these are really good resources regarding quant section. You have to make a proper timetable regarding this and accordingly assign the number of hours you want to invest, you can go through previous year paper in order to get an idea regarding your level and improve it through regular practice of mock papers, it's freely available in various competitive exam sites as well, this will also take care of your  time management skills, you can also learn short tricks such as learning the table, cubes, square, cube roots, square roots, percentages etc.

SSC CHSL is conducted in three phases namely-

Phase I consists of 200 marks for a duration of one hour in MCQs format with four sections such as General English, General Intelligence and Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness.

Phase II is descriptive paper in offline mode for a duration of one hour.

Third phase is skill test for DEO or typing test for LDC/JSA/Posting or Sorting Assistant.
