There is no official term like gap year in CAT or other management exams. You can appear for the examination and score a good percentile. Nothing negative for that.

However during the Personal Interview you can be asked about your gap year and the reason for the same. You can convince the interviewer with your reason and can get through to s Top B School of the country.
