Every year, the TNPSC Commission sets the age restriction and exam eligibility. Every year, the commission holds these exams to hire applicants for various positions in state government departments. TNPSC hires for Group 1, Group 2, Group 3, Group 4, Combined Engineering Services, Assistant System Engineer, Assistant Engineer, District Educational Officer, and other positions.

As the posts changes, so does the eligibility criteria and educational requirement change as such. So, as you have completed BA in English Literature, it certainly does not make you eligible for all the concerned posts in the TNPSC.
