If you have studied Commerce, you would not be able to qualify for the Loco Pilot Aptitude test. You must have at least a 12th degree with PCM or an engineering degree to meet the criteria.

No, must have science pass and ITI of electrical or diseal trade are required. To become a successful loco pilot in Indian railways one has to complete an ITI grade in diesel mechanic, electrical mechanical grades, or a Diploma in electrical or mechanical is needed after this one has to apply for the post of ALP.
