I have completed my degree in autonomous College, iam eligible to write IAS or not

Hello Arun,

Definitely you can appear for IAS Exam after the completion of your Degree course. For IAS, one has to appear for civil services examination conducted by UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) every year.

Here is the selection procedure for IAS Exam.

-CSAT (Civil Services Aptitude Test)

-Civil Services Main Examination

-Interview

Here is the eligibility criteria for IAS Exam.

Academic qualification :

-One should have completed Graduation with any of the stream from a recognized university.

-Even the final year candidates of qualifying examination who have appeared for the exam and waiting for the results are also eligible to apply for the exam.

Age criteria :

-One should be in the age group of 21-30 years to be eligible for IAS Exam.

-Relaxation upto 3 years in upper age limit for the candidates of OBC.

-Relaxation upto 4 years in upper age limit for the candidates of SC/ST.
