You have not mentioned your state. The admission criteria for different states is different. You have to give lateral entry entrance exam in most of the states for getting admitted in B.Tech course. You will not be able to take admission without giving entrance exam. Your GPA does not matter when it comes to the lateral admission in government B.tech colleges. If you give entrance exam in a good way, then surely you will get government b.tech colleges.
