For being benefitted by State quota you need to have domicile certificate. For getting domicile certificate you need to apply for it with some documents which varies from state to state.
It doesn't matters from where you have pursued your class 10th or 12th, you'll not get a domicile certificate on the basis of it but will get a domicile certificate for the state where you have permanent residence and not any state where you study or do a job. So, Hope this might help you.
