Eligibility criterion for taking admission in Amity on the basis of JEE :

The academic qualifications as prescribed in Information Bulletin and Application Form of JEE-2018 are applicable for this counselling. These are reproduced below.

• The minimum academic qualification for admission through JEE-2018 is that the candidate must have passed in the final examination of 10+2 (Class XII), or its equivalent, referred to as the qualifying examination with 60% marks (PCM & English) for general category candidate
• .For all Amity Campuses JEE Mains : Students securing a score of 30 and above in JEE Mains 2018 plus 60% in E-PCM ( English + Physics + Maths + Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science/Biotechnology ), will also be considered as eligible for Direct Admission process i.e., exempt from entrance test and interview, for B Tech programmes only. (Negative and 0 score will not be considered at Noida Campus).
• Those appearing in 10+2 (Class XII) final, or equivalent, examination and whose results are not declared may also appear in counselling. Such candidates will be admitted provisionally, subject to the submission of proof of passing in qualifying examination latest by September 2018 at the allotted institution. In case they fail to comply with this deadline for providing the proof of passing in the qualifying examination, their admission will stand cancelled.

This is the only eligibility criteria for Amity University and it no where mentions about NIOS students being ineligible. Its always advisable to visit the official website for correct information.
