The eligible criteria for IFS are as follows:

1. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in any one of these subjects name as follows: Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or Forestry or Engineering with discipline University.

2. Age limits: 

Candidates age should be minimum 21 years and maximum 30 years on 1st July of the year of examination.

Relaxation is provided to these categories 

OBC category - up to 3 years.

SC/ST category- up to 5 years.

Eligibility criteria for IRS are as follows:

Candidates should hold graduation degree from the state, central, open university with recognized university.

Age limits:

For general category- minimum age should be 21 years and maximum age should be 32 years

Relaxation provided for these categories: 

OBC category- up to 35 years.

SC/ST category-up to 37 years.
