Doing MBA in distance mode  will end you up with a degree but the level of knowledge you retrieve out of it depends on your self discipline and urge to learn. But you can show it in your CV and hence it adds a little extra weight with the MBA tag. These distance MBA programs are very useful for people looking for some advancement in their career. However if you are planning to do distance education you need to check that particular university must have all the mandatory recognition . Bharathiyar university is a decent university for distance education with classes on the week-ends and it is useful for exam preparations. However, I think it doesn't have DEB recognition.
