           As you are from polytechnic background, I would suggest you to do btech. Which is lateral entry for polytechnic candidates.

But as you mentioned, you got 59% in polytechnic, this will occur problems in taking parts in the entrances. Most of the entrances want 60% to match eligiblity criteria. So, that's the problem!

But don't worry, many colleges also has lower eligibility criteria to join.
