To open a downloaded book you can't find, first access your device's file manager, then navigate to the "Downloads" folder where most downloaded files are saved in your phone memory there you can see your downloaded file.

if you can't find it there, try searching for the book title using the file manager's search function, or check if the download location was customized during the download process. Or download from play Store pdf reader.
