Whenever you make an Economically Weaker Section Certificate, you first have to make an Income Certificate first. Income certificate is valid either for 6 Months or for 1 Financial Year.

Similarly, when you make Economically Weaker Section (EWS Certificate) it's valid for 1 Financial Year.

Henceforth, your EWS Certificate is valid till 31st of March, 2023 and after that it becomes invalid. Because, the financial year starts from 1st of April of every year and ends on 31st March of next of its consecutive year.

Hope you are doing great. The EWS/Income & Asset certificate has a one-year official validity. The EWS certificate is based on the priceless financial year and is valid for a full year beginning when it is made. It doesn't take into account the current or upcoming fiscal year. However, you will have to update and renew the certificate within the allotted time. For one year, the Income and Assets Certificate is valid. Depending on the state, the period may vary up to a maximum of six months.
