It depends on the no. of candidates applying through GATE score. Because a merit list is prepared. You can submit your score card and a separate merit list will be prepared for MTech in Karnataka, you don't even have to and more importantly can't take the exam of PGCET as per KEA guidelines. If your gate score is low, then just click a Non Gate scorer option in PGCET application form and write PGCET.There is absolutely no discrimination made between both students. A separate Rank list and separate allotment of seats are made.
