For JEE Main below aspirants should have passed 12th class or qualifying exam in 2016 or 2017. A JEE Main aspirant can avail 3 attempts for the national level undergraduate engineering entrance exam. For JEE Advanced candidate can attempt JEE (Advanced) a maximum of two times in consecutive years and candidate should have appeared for the Class XII (or equivalent) examination for the first time in either 2017 or 2018. In 2018, there will be only one entrance exam to take admission in engineering including state level and private level colleges. This proposal is approved by AICTE. You can wait for the new notification and eligibility criteria for the exam.
