The rank you have mentioned is a decent rank and enough to get you in an iit even you may get old iits with decent branches and you are almost sure to get lower branches in many iits but for good enough branches you may have to wait and watch and take action accordingly as the counselling proceeds also getting a seat will also depend on your preferences so choose wisely.
