Yes you can get saets in lower nits.
Some of the nits you shpuld take chance are.
Nit agartala , nit durgapur , nit jamshedpur , nit raipur
Nit kurukshetra .

Here the closing cutoff goes loww upto 2k so you can take chances on getting seats in any of them .
