Yes you have... just be ready to answer a lot of questions pertaining to why couldn't you score well.

A defence officer is expected to deliver perfection at the job in hand. When you are in your 12th class your job in hand is studying. Not scoring well means not delivering perfection in the job at hand. Now you have to have a rational explanation to why was the score low.
